From humble beginnings working for the Gas Board at the age of 16, Barry Weir went on to build an impressive business empire.
Barry has had a wide variety of business interests but throughout each venture he has always ensured that he has always ensured he achieves the highest possible standards.
A combination of hard work and superb vision meant that he was able to grasp any opportunity that came his way and maximise it to the full.
Barry and his wife started off their business life by running a B&B which eventually enabled them to by a beach house in the prestigious Sandbanks development.
This led to them being able offered the chance to buy a boatyards and before long Barry became the biggest operator in Poole Harbour.
Next stop was creating an award-winning riverside restaurant in Amberley, West Sussex, with its cantilever swimming pool and own exclusive moorings.
One of Barry's greatest business successes was building up a large park home portfolio which he sold for a seven figure sum in 2018, becoming an advisor to the Government on the way on best practice for running the sites.
Barry's eye for development was shown when he bought a Grade I Scottish castle on the shores of Loch Fyne which he renovated to it's former glory.
This eye for design was also reflected when he created an original Aston Martin-approved car the Jet 2+2. It became the fastest shooting brake car in the world when it was built with a top speed of 197mph!
